PATIENT SUPPORT

We run 31聽 support groups around the country, 21 for stroke and a number of other support groups for heart failure, sudden cardiac death, Long QT syndrome, and cardiomyopathy, providing support to thousands of patients and carers every year.

PREVENTION

We offer frontline services and programmes in schools, workplaces, and communities across the country which promote and support people to live healthier lives and reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke.

ADVOCACY

We advocate and campaign to influence national health policy for the better, including in the areas of childhood obesity, stroke, tobacco control, and the provision of high-quality, effective cardiac services.

LIFESAVING CPR

Every year in Ireland, thousands of people die from sudden cardiac arrest. Around 70 per cent of cardiac arrests happen at home. If you know how to recognise a cardiac arrest, make an emergency call and start CPR immediately, you can double or even triple the person鈥檚 chances of survival.

The 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 runs the largest CPR training network in the country. In 2019 we trained 95,122聽 people in the lifesaving skill of CPR.
